A perfectly adequate hotel in a central location - a few stops on the MTR from Marine Bay, Raffles Place and the Botanic Gardens, and a short 5 minute walk from various restaurants and bars at Robertsons Quay. From the outside it looks a little bit like The Death Star in Star Wars, but the inside opens out into a really impressive internal atrium space with internal lifts. The pool and gym are easy to access and are very well looked after. Breakfast can be a bit cramped at peak times but the selection and quality of food is well above what one would normally expect at a HI. Special thanks to staff member Frennie who really looked after us at breakfast and answered our questions about the food options. When we left, reception stored our luggage safely and allowed us to access the pool showers to freshen up before the long flight home.

The hotel is located at outram road. A lot of hotels around but no shopping areas around where you can go for a stroll in the evening for shopping or local dining. The rooms are of good size but the carpet smells a bit initially when you enter the room. The hotel looks to be a bit outrun. The staff are courteous. The breakfast spread was good.

We spent the first 3 days of our honeymoon at The Holiday Inn Atrium. The location is excellent as the MRT (underground train) is next door, we used this a lot and for several trips throughout the day was less than £4! The rooms were very well air conditioned and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a huge selection of international foods and the staff were extreamly efficient. The most lovely thing was that the hotel gave us strawberries and marshmellows with a chocolate dip and a card wishing us a happy marriage. I would highly recommend staying here.

Standard Holiday Inn with unpleasant issues - but acceptable in general

Knew this hotel from the past. Clear what to expect. A Holiday Inn standard hotel, nothing special. But compared to other hotels the price level is acceptable and the lcoation is quite good. MTR entrance close by. Atrium is still impressive, although style might be a bit dated. One issue we had, reservation department contacted us by email to get to know when exactly we will arrive, 2 adults, 1 child - so they could take care that all was prepared for us. Good approach. However, once arrived and opened to door to the room on the 25th level, strange.....small room......one king bed, and where our daughter shall sleep? What I had booked was a room with 1 king and 1 proper single bed. Called, promised to deliver additional bed. Although I did not know where exactly they want to put it as the room had in principle not free avaiable space left. Cut story short....2 hours after arrival, already quite late in the night, nothing had happened. I went down to reception for "motivation". Suddenly the additional bed arrived. My question about the room that I had booked was "answered" without answer. 2nd issue, we sent to the restaurant which offered a nice buffet dinner that night (Ramadan period). Nice seafood, other nice things...food looked great and tasted so. But ice tea and other "strange" ethnic drinks are not my preference for enjoying seafood. So I asked for a beer.....oh my god...."alcohol".... I was taught that this was a "Halal" restaurant and no option for any kind of alcoholic drinks. I found that a bit strange....if Muslim guest do not want to drink alcohol, fair enough, no one forces them. But I am guest in an international hotel, alcohol is not banned in Singapur and available, expensive though. That was the last evening we stayed at the hotel for food. To be honest, it felt a bit discriminating. All the rest of the hotel is fine....you get what you can expect. Breakfast was good, although breakfast times could have been a bit extended beyhond 10 h am Would I chose it again? Yes, why not. But would be more careful to get what I actually booked.

We had a wonderful stay at the holiday inn atrium. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed, luckily our room was ready upon arrival which allowed us to get some much needed sleep after the 13 hour flight. Our room was on the 24th floor and had some great views. The room was comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast each morning was a delight, there was so much choice. Our favourite part of the day was heading to the lobby bar in the afternoon and always being greeted with the biggest smile from the lovely Crisphanie! She works so hard to ensure you’re having a lovely time and is a real credit to the hotel. The hotel is very close to the mrt which makes getting around super easy. A great stay. Thank you holiday inn atrium Singapore.
